Stay Tuned for the Launch of Dataverse

Dataverse is an open-source platform designed for sharing and archiving research data based on the “FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship” supported by the NIH Common Fund.

Developed at Harvard’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS) and maintained by the community since 2006, the platform supports qualitative and quantitative data, documentation, and code, automatically registers data with an indexed global persistent DOI, and contains configurable workflows to manage permissions, access controls, and terms of use.

The CEC will be using Dataverse as a repository for data archiving and sharing, and to enable replication as well as ensure rigor and reproducibility for all analyses and papers derived from FIRST Awardees.

Dataverse will launch before the end of Q1, 2023.
